Grape Vine Blog

With Spring, the property market will usually become more active than in Winter. Coinciding with this Winter has been a seemingly long (and endless) election campaign.

With the election now over and a result to come soon this will also lead to more property activity.

Make sure that you get the right legal advice before you buy or sell a property. Give us a call first!

A great place for Coffee is Bunker at 399 Liverpool Street, Darlinghurst Phone: 0404 407 349. The Cafe is just off Victoria Street between the tappas Restaurant and Hairdresser.
The Cafe is very small and always busy serving up great Campos Coffee consistantly every time I have visited.
The menu is rustic as with the name, food simple and very good home cooked fair.
Worth a wait for an outside table, puppy friendly and take away available if in a rush.

Grilled has recently opened in Victoria Street Darlinghurst and also in Crown Street.
We experienced the product and service at the Victoria Street (314) Store in the former Vietnamese Restaurant site close to Wow Cow.
The good thing for me is they offer a Gluten free bun which can be in many cases very scary indeed however in this case it was very good.
The burger range is extensive including Beef, Chicken, Lamb, Veggie, Kids and snack size burgers.
They also offer steak sandwiches, salads and the mandatory hot chips.

Working with Close Encounters, I get to write off  my eating out as an expense, in light of that I eat out in various places 3 to 4 times a week. Every now and then something special happens in a dining experience. Saturday night at BUZO in Woollahra was one of those times. Beer and wine at the Wine Library( Buzo's new wine bar in Oxford) for a pre dinner drink and then dinner. Hospitality is the generic name of the trade we are in and it seems as if it is a forgotten art.

If you are looking for a bank (or indeed anyone else, not just an investor) to support or advise on your business then you are going to need to give them information. Trading history is invaluable, and essential in many cases, but what most people will want to know is how the business will perform in the future. Short of having a crystal ball how can you show this and, most importantly, how can you convince others that your forecasts and projections are accurate - or at least fair and reasonable.
