BRIEF

To provide a quality cafe, bar, general store and function facility to the Murrays Beach residential community near Newcastle NSW located on Lake Macquarie.

Stockland found that the development required a local facility where residents and prospective purchasers could obtain a great coffee, buy the newspaper, milk and enjoy breakfast, lunch or dinner as required.

 

SCOPE OF WORKS

  • Create the concept brief including front and back of house layout and key design requirements.
  • Business plan to exit stratergy
  • Capital and operational budgets
  • Create a licence agreement for a prospective operator (lawyer ready) based on the business plan, objectives of the client, the residential community, expectations of prospective purchasers of property and cafe customers.
  • Secure a suitable operator for the operation
  • Support the operator and Stockland as retained consultant to exit stratergy execuition
  • Liase with the project Manager, interior designer, kitchen and bar plans to installation and commissioning, liase with marketing dept of stockland and all interested parties on an ongoing basis as retained consultant post opening of the operation through 'Business evolution program'
